Happy Hot Dogs Rescue and Sanctuary is a nonprofit, 501c3 animal rescue that is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing compassionate care for senior and medically vulnerable dogs and cats. This organization prioritizes animals that are at risk due to age, illness, abandonment, or special medical needs. Animals may be responsibly re-homed after receiving proper care, or provided lifelong sanctuary when adoption is not in their best interest.
We are a home-based rescue and sanctuary with the capacity to care for approximately 10 animals at a time.
The organization primarily serves Citrus County and surrounding communities in the state of Florida.
Happy Hot Dogs Rescue and Sanctuary commits to maintaining humane standards of care for all animals under its supervision including – access to proper veterinary care, proper nutrition and shelter, safe and humane handling, and consideration of quality of life for sanctuary animals.
All donations, grants, and financial contributions received by the organization are used solely to support the nonprofit mission.
