Oreo is a sweet little 4-year-old boy Chihuahua mix with a big heart, a love for cuddles, and plenty of affection to give to his furever home! After starting out as a stray, he’s ready to trade his days for a cozy bed, a loving lap, and a family he can call his own.
Oreo’s favorite thing is anything that involves being close to his people! He’s a professional cuddler, an enthusiastic face-licker, and a big fan of snuggling up next to you in bed at night! Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or going about your day, this little guy would be perfectly happy keeping you company!
Don’t let his love for lounging fool you, though – Oreo has a playful side, too! He enjoys his toys, loves having a little room to run around, and is always happy to have some fun before settling back in for more snuggles! He’s also a quiet little companion who knows how to enjoy the simple things in life.
Having been a stray, the great outdoors can still feel a little intimidating sometimes, so he may need some extra patience and reassurance as he continues to build confidence. Therefore, a securely fenced yard would be wonderful for him, giving him a safe space to explore, play, and gain confidence at his own pace.
Oreo is a friendly little fellow who gets along well with smaller dogs, men, women, and even cats! We haven’t yet tested him around small children.
He’s already neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and heartworm-negative, so he is ready to start his next chapter!
All this little sweetheart needs now is someone willing to give him the love, patience, and security he’s been waiting for. In return, you’ll get a loyal little shadow, a warm cuddle buddy, and a whole lot of kisses.
